Property description : Mornington Wilderness Camp is part of the Mornington Wildlife Sanctuary which covers 312,000 hectares of the Central Kimberley including much of the upper catchment area of the Fitzroy River and sections of the King Leopold Ranges. It protects a range of ecosystems, such as tropical savanna and open woodlands, which are home to a diversity of birds, mammals and reptiles. Popular activities include canoeing at Dimond Gorge and Sir John Gorge, birdwatching and guided tours conducted by experienced ecologists.
