Property description : The Criterion Hotel opened its doors on the 26th April 1996, having undergone extensive re-modelling and refurbishment. It is Perths oldest hotel with a licence since 1840. The Criterion Hotel has the best of both worlds - the old and the new. The art-deco facade and some parts of its interior are being preserved as part of the Heritage Conservation effort to enhance the old style ambience of the area surrounding Hay Street.
